On October 14, 2013, Kukui High performed for the residents of Institute for Human Services (HIS). They were a great group of people, and very appreciative of the music. We were particularly touched by the kids, who danced with exuberance to every song.
On November 2, 2013, Kukui High played at the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. We entertained the walkers as they started the walk and circled the course, and the rain didn’t dampen spirits, and Kukui High spread some cheer.
On December 5, 2013, Kukui High marched in the 2013 Kaimuki Christmas Parade. We had a great time and were positioned right in front of Santa Claus at the end of the parade. We had a blast and the community support was fantastic. Here’s a clip from the Olelo telecast featuring Kukui High:

On February 19, 2014, we made a happy return to Shriner’s to perform for the kids. We love playing for the Shriner’s kids and working with the wonderful staff. At the end of the performance, we have the kids take over percussion on a couple of songs. This time they drummed to Louie Louie and Hawaii Five-O. They were great and played some MEAN cadences. Here are a few clips from the performance:
